Toyota Tsusho Material Inc. operates a “circulating business” by collecting metal scrap (e.g. iron, aluminum, copper, magnesium, nickel) generated from vehicles, building materials, electric appliances, and other industries, and selling such scrap as raw material to domestic/overseas manufacturers. Taking advantage of our capability to make direct transactions with various plants made possible by use of our knowledge as a “TOYOTA Group” member, we conduct “global trading”, which does not mean mindlessly buying and selling things, but responding to customer needs and caring for global environment. We also deal with “end-of-life vehicles (ELV)” and “electric vehicle battery recycling”, which have been attracting great attention in the recent years. Vehicles nowadays consist not only of parts made of iron, but also of parts made of such nonferrous metals as copper, nickel, lithium, as well as plastics, and making reuse of these materials all, we are, as a top company, leading the attainment of Circulating Society which can sustainably develop.
